Helping you through the tough times

Supporting you with your cancer treatment with Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine

Acupuncture is a safe and gentle treatment that can help patients to manage some of side effects of treatment such as fatigue, pain, nausea and vomiting, dry mouth and anxiety.

Acupuncture can help alleviate the physical symptoms and just as importantly offer support for the mental and emotional aspects of treatment.

It is wonderful to be able to offer some form of relief to patients and to their families when they are going through a very stressful and difficult time. We aim to offer a healing space where patients are able to relax and reconnect with themselves. Every patient has a different experience of cancer and wherever you are on that journey, we aim to meet you and support you with acupuncture, moxa or whatever your body most needs at the time.

Our aim is to reduce the side effects of cancer treatment whilst at the same time support your constitution and immune system so you have as much as qi, blood and energy as possible to get through your treatment and recover.

Chinese herbal medicine can be prescribed alongside your western treatments. In China, herbal medicine is regularly given to patients to support them through chemotherapy. Many traditional herbs have anti-cancer properties as well as anti-inflammatory compounds that can support you through your treatment. A herbal prescription will be specifically tailored work alongside your current treatment protocol and regularly reviewed and modified throughout your treatment to support your body with what it needs at the time.
